How to Install the PipsCrusher Expert Advisor on MT5

Complete step-by-step guide to downloading, installing, and configuring the PipsCrusher EA on your MetaTrader 5 terminal.

The PipsCrusher Expert Advisor (EA) is a custom MQL5 program that runs on your MetaTrader 5 terminal and automatically executes trades based on signals from your PipsCrusher account.

Prerequisites:

An active PipsCrusher subscription with auto-trading enabled
MetaTrader 5 installed (from your broker)
A funded MT5 trading account
Windows PC or VPS (recommended for 24/7 operation)

Step 1: Generate Your EA API Key Log in to your PipsCrusher dashboard → Settings → EA Configuration. Click "Generate API Key". Save this key securely — you'll need it to authenticate the EA.

Step 2: Download the EA Files

On the same Settings page, click "Download EA". This downloads a ZIP file containing:

PipsCrusher_EA.mq5 (the EA source file)
PipsCrusher_EA.mqh (helper library)
README.txt (quick reference)

Step 3: Install the EA in MT5 1. Open MetaTrader 5 2. Go to File → Open Data Folder 3. Navigate to MQL5/Experts/ 4. Copy PipsCrusher_EA.mq5 and PipsCrusher_EA.mqh into this folder 5. Restart MT5 or right-click the Experts panel and select "Refresh"

Step 4: Compile the EA 1. Open the MetaEditor (press F4 in MT5 or go to Tools → MetaQuotes Language Editor) 2. Open PipsCrusher_EA.mq5 3. Click "Compile" (or press F7) 4. Ensure compilation completes with 0 errors

Step 5: Attach the EA to a Chart 1. In MT5, open any chart (the pair doesn't matter — the EA trades all your enabled pairs) 2. In the Navigator panel, expand "Expert Advisors" 3. Drag PipsCrusher_EA onto the chart 4. In the EA settings dialog, go to the "Inputs" tab 5. Enter your API Key and API Base URL (e.g., https://api.pipscrusher.com) 6. Click OK

Step 6: Enable Auto-Trading 1. Make sure the "AutoTrading" button in MT5's toolbar is enabled (green icon) 2. In the EA settings, ensure "Allow Algo Trading" is checked 3. Enable "Allow WebRequest" in MT5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Add your API URL to the allowed list

The EA will now start polling for trade intents and executing them automatically. You can monitor its activity in the "Experts" tab of MT5's terminal window.
